When you run a scan, Compliance Desk accesses the current Canva design page through Canva's Design Editing API, including supported text, formatting regions, dimensions, lock state, and solid fills where exposed.
Use and processing
This information is used to perform the requested checks and show results. Processing happens in the app frontend. In v1, Compliance Desk has no backend, account system, external analytics, or third-party JavaScript, and it does not send design content to an external service.
Retention
Rule settings and scan results are held in memory for the app session. Compliance Desk does not intentionally retain them after the session ends.
